Quick & easy to make.
Wow yourself and everyone else with this absolutely delicious dish!
1 Cup of Good quality White Basmati Rice
2 Cups of Boiling Water
3 - 4 tsp of The African Chef Sweet Potato & Coconut Relish
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
Handful of Fresh Chopped Corriander
1 tsp of The African Chef African Gold (Optional - for chilli lovers!)
Pour the rice, boiling water, salt and turmeric powder into a pan and bring to the boil. Cook until all the water has all absorbed (you can hear a little crackle/popping sound) the rice should be standing on end on the top surface. Turn off the heat and seal with a lid. Next add The African Chef - Sweet Potato and Coconut Relish. Mix gently with a fork and add the chopped fresh coriander. Serve - we like to fill a small bowl and turn onto a plate for a fancy serving and add a teaspoon of The African Chef - African Gold for a chilli hit! (optional!)
