Simple Meatballs Recipe
500g Organic minced beef (10-15% fat)
Splash of Sunflower Oil
Knob of butter
1 Jar of The African Chef Chakalaka Sauce
Good Pinch Of Sea Salt
Good Grind Of Black Pepper
Season the meat with the salt and black pepper. Form a large ball and one by one pull an even amount of meat and roll in the palm of your hands to form a circular meatball. Once all the meatballs have been made, add them to a large pan of hot sunflower oil. Once the base of the meatballs are nice and brown, turn over using tongs and repeat this process, cooking for approximately 10 - 15 minutes or until all the meatballs are cooked with a nice brown coat.
Once cooked, tip any excess fat into a bowl to remove and add a jar of Chakalaka to the pan. Stir through and seal with a lid. Cook for a further 5-8 minutes. Plate up and enjoy!
